Baby & Child Health Clinics 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM The Child and Family Health Nurses run clinics in Balranald 4 days a week. Clinic hours are 9am - 3pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and 9am to noon on Friday.
CHILD & FAMILY HEALTH CLINIC 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Child Developmental Health Checks are conducted by the Child & Family Health Nurse at the following key stages: 1-4 weeks; 6-8 weeks; 6 months; 12 months; 18 months; 2 years; 3 years; 4 years. The Child & Family Health Nurse is a registered nurse with specialised qualifications in working with parents providing support and sharing information on: feeding your infant; coping with sleeping and crying; your child's growth and development; immunisation; child safety; starting family foods; postnatal depression and distress; parent wellbeing; pregnancy; community networking and resources.
Hip Class 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Hip class held every Monday and Thursday from 9am to 10am for patients who have had a hip operation or replacement. Drs Referral is required for physio assessment prior to entering the class.
Physio - Hydro 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Class held Tuesday and Thursday for patients who may benefit from physio in the aquatic environment.
FIT & STRONG Strength Training Program 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM ADDRESS: Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club Auditorium, Matong Street, Dareton

FIT & STRONG is open to all community members with the initial target group being men and women aged 50 plus. People who are living with arthritis, obesity, depression, osteoporosis, diabetes, cardiac and respiratory rehabilition recipients, first time mothers and physically or intellectually disabled people and their carers.

PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT: All participants are required to attend a pre-exercise health screening and appraisal. You may also be required to obtain clearance from your General Practitioner. Contact Dareton Primary Health to arrange an appointment for your assessment on 03 5021 7200.
Psychiatry Clinics 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Psychiatry clinics are available 1.00pm to 4.00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Appointments will require a full assessment by the Mental Health Team before an appointment with a psychiatrist can be made. For further details please contact us.
Wentworth Shire DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Address: Day Care Centre, Wentworth Hospital, Wentworth.

A health and well-being support group for people with diabetes, their families and carers. The group meets bi-monthly at the Day Care Centre at Wentworth Hospital for: wellbeing support, information sharing, social connection/support.
Guest Presenters will speak at most meetings to provide up to date information on diabetes management. Guest speakers and activities may include: Optometrist, podiatrist, dietician, diabetes educator, mental health & wellbeing, a guided supermarket tour. Please Note: dates may be subject to change due to the availability of specialist presenters. To attend, please contact the Diabetes Educator at Dareton Primary Health or your Primary Health Care Worker.

COST: Free. A gold coin towards afternoon tea is appreciated.
Aqua Aerobics at Balranald Swimming Pool 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM Aqua aerobics will be running at the Balranald Swimming Pool from 6pm to 6.45pm Mondays and Thursdays.
