CHILD & FAMILY HEALTH CLINIC 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Child Developmental Health Checks are conducted by the Child & Family Health Nurse at the following key stages: 1-4 weeks; 6-8 weeks; 6 months; 12 months; 18 months; 2 years; 3 years; 4 years. The Child & Family Health Nurse is a registered nurse with specialised qualifications in working with parents providing support and sharing information on: feeding your infant; coping with sleeping and crying; your child's growth and development; immunisation; child safety; starting family foods; postnatal depression and distress; parent wellbeing; pregnancy; community networking and resources.

Baby & Child Health Clinics 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM The Child and Family Health Nurses run clinics in Balranald 3 days a week. Clinic hours are 9am - 3pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Balranald Dental Clinic 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Balranald Dental Clinic is open Monday 9am - 4pm, Wednesday 9am - 4pm and Thursday 9am - 1pm for appointments.
Balranald Ultrasounds 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Balranald MPS offers ultrasounds every second Wednesday from 9am to 1pm. A referral is necessary and some fees apply. Bookings for ultrasounds are made through Balranald Medical Centre on 03 5020 1055.
CP Rehab - Acute 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM For patients who have cardiac or respiratory risk factors. Held Monday and Wednesday 11-12 for 8 weeks.
Paeds Hydro 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Paediatric patients who will benefit from physiotherapy in an aquatic environment.

Psychiatry Clinics 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Psychiatry clinics are available 1.00pm to 4.00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Appointments will require a full assessment by the Mental Health Team before an appointment with a psychiatrist can be made. For further details please contact us.
CP Rehab - Maintenance 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday 13.00- 14.00 for completed acute class – opportunity to return for 8 weeks for exercise program
PRIME TIME, A Health and Well-being Group for Women in the "Prime of their Life" 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM ADDRESS: Memorial Room, Visitors Centre, 66 Darling Street, Wentworth

PRIME TIME, A Health and Well-being Group for Women in the "Prime of their Life" (60+ years). The group meets monthly for: health and well-being information and socialisation. Prime Time is about improving and maintaining your social, physical and emotional health and well-being. It is about staying connected! Guest Speakers will facilitate an informal chat about the topic for the day, which may include: discussions about travel, legal, dietician, mental health, wills, Centrelink and other varied topics. It is about learning and trying new things. Most of all it is about fun! Contact the Social Worker at Dareton Primary Health or your Primary Health Worker.

COST: Free. A gold coin towards afternoon tea is appreciated. The group meetings on the first Wednesday of each month.
IMMUNISATION CLINIC 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM ADDRESS: Midway Centre, Midway Drive, Buronga

Immunisation clinics are held twice monthly at each of our clinic sites (Dareton, Buronga/Gol Gol and Wentworth). These clinics are conducted by registered nurses who have gained specialised training to provide immunisations and can provide support and information to parents.
