Balranald Community Exercise Programs 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Balranald MPS is offering a free Community Exercise program on Mondays and Thursdays. This program can be in a group or one-on-one. The groups are run by our Exercise Physiologist every second Thursday and by our Personal Trainer every other Thursday and also on Mondays.
Hip Class 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Hip class held every Monday and Thursday from 9am to 10am for patients who have had a hip operation or replacement. Drs Referral is required for physio assessment prior to entering the class.
Waves Hydro/ Musculoskeletal 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Classes held Mondays Wednesday morning and Fridays
Patients to continue their independent physiotherapy program in a supervised aquatic setting.
Baby & Child Health Clinics 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM The Child and Family Health Nurses run clinics in Balranald 3 days a week. Clinic hours are 9am - 3pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Balranald Dental Clinic 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Balranald Dental Clinic is open Monday 9am - 4pm, Wednesday 9am - 4pm and Thursday 9am - 1pm for appointments.
Balranald Xray Department 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Balranald MPS has a radiographer on site on Mondays. Xrays are available from 9am to 3.45pm by appointment. A referral is necessary and must be presented at time on xray. Xrays are bulk billed to medicare.

Balranald Adult Day Centre 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Balranald MPS run an Adult Day Centre every Monday and Thursday. This operates from 10am - 2pm with lunch available on site. Also a bus is provided for transport to and from. Daily activities include arts & craft, games, celebrations, and occassionally outings.
STEPPING ON: Falls Prevention Program @ Coomealla Club, Matong Street, Dareton 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Stepping On is a free, exciting and friendly community-based falls prevention program for seniors. It is designed to build knowledge, strength and confidence to prevent falls and stay active and independent. This free 7-week program combines gentle strength and balance exercises with educational sessions. The program covers home hazard awareness, moving safely in the community, safe footwear, nutrition and bone health, vision, medication management, leg strength and balance exercises, and getting up after a fall.
WHO CAN JOIN? Anyone who is:
65 years and older; Living at home in NSW; Able to walk independently or with a walking stick; Fearful of falling; or, has fallen recently.

IMMUNISATION CLINIC 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM ADDRESS: Midway Centre, Midway Drive, Buronga

Immunisation clinics are held twice monthly at each of our clinic sites (Dareton, Buronga/Gol Gol and Wentworth). These clinics are conducted by registered nurses who have gained specialised training to provide immunisations and can provide support and information to parents.
Psychiatry Clinics 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Psychiatry clinics are available 1.00pm to 4.00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Appointments will require a full assessment by the Mental Health Team before an appointment with a psychiatrist can be made. For further details please contact us.
