TAI CHI FOR ARTHRITIS @ The Midway Centre, Gol Gol 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM TAI CHI is an ancient and gentle Chinese exercise that is practised around the world. It involves slow, controlled movements that improve flexibility, muscle strength, balance and fitness. Studies show that Tai Chi helps to reduce pain and stiffness felt by people with arthritis. Benefits of Tai Chi include: helps to relieve pain and stiffness; relieves stress; improves concentration; improves balance; improves posture; decreases blood pressure; improves immunity; provides an enhanced sense of wellbeing. Training is provided by Primary Health staff who have completed their Tai Chi for Arthritis Instructors Course.
