|FIT & STRONG Strength Training Program @ Coomealla Memorial Club, Dareton||11:15 AM to 12:15 PM||FIT & STRONG Strength Training Program supports the Chronic Disease Strategy, and was commenced with support provided by a Veterans Community Grant from the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club, Dareton. Strength training can help reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic diseases. Exercise has been shown to increase the strength of your muscles, maintain the integrity of your bones, and improve your balance, coordination and moiblity. It is open to all community members with the initial target group being men and women aged 50 plus.
WHEN: Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:15am-12:15pm
WHERE: Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club, Matong Street, Dareton
All participants are required to attend a pre-exericse health screening and appraisal. You may also be required to obtain clearance from your General Practitioner. Contact Dareton Primary Health on 03 5021 7200 to arrange an appointment for your assessment.
